The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,681 from 13,423 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 23.
Test positivity rate is at 13%.
905 were confirmed from PCR and 776 from antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 63; Bourgas - 90; Varna - 125; Veliko Turnovo – 40; Vidin – 21; Vratsa – 29; Gabrovo – 26; Dobrich – 47; Kardzhali - 36; Kyustendil - 29; Lovech - 44; Montana - 36; Pazardzhik - 33; Pernik - 24; Pleven – 34; Plovdiv - 157; Razgrad - 12; Rousse - 63; Silistra - 16; Sliven - 38; Smolyan – 23; Sofia district - 92; Sofia city – 386; Stara Zagora - 96; Targovishte - 13; Haskovo - 36; Shoumen – 46; Yambol - 26.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 394,594.
The active cases are 54,473.
Of the total, 8,309 patients are in hospitals, 781 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 3,192 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 321,400;
· 22,016 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 698,517;
· 103 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 15,721.
