The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,733 from 12,066 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on February 25.
1,021 were confirmed from PCR and 712 from antigen tests.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 79; Bourgas - 94; Varna – 79; Veliko Turnovo – 34; Vidin – 6; Vratsa - 71; Gabrovo – 29; Dobrich - 30; Kardzhali - 16; Kyustendil - 53; Lovech - 22; Montana - 25; Pazardzhik - 68; Pernik - 44; Pleven – 89; Plovdiv - 139; Razgrad - 11; Rousse - 21; Silistra - 19; Sliven - 39; Smolyan – 9; Sofia district - 46; Sofia city – 464; Stara Zagora - 75; Targovishte – 3; Haskovo - 75; Shoumen - 69; Yambol - 24.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 242,124.
The active cases are 30,093.
Of the total, 4,202 patients are in hospitals, 369 of them being in intensive care.
