Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 1,770 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,770 from 6,539 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on July 29.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,204,264

The active cases are 22,689.

Of the total, 998 patients are in hospitals, 52 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 1,001 recoveries;

• 3,619 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 4 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 64.63% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 75.00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 166 new hospitalisations, of which 84.94% had not been vaccinated.
