The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,002 from 14,215 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 22.
1,144 were confirmed from PCR and 858 from antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 80; Bourgas - 123; Varna - 188; Veliko Turnovo – 57; Vidin – 28; Vratsa – 62; Gabrovo – 28; Dobrich – 62; Kardzhali - 31; Kyustendil - 25; Lovech - 34; Montana - 35; Pazardzhik - 58; Pernik - 48; Pleven – 50; Plovdiv - 184; Razgrad - 16; Rousse - 72; Silistra - 29; Sliven - 43; Smolyan – 26; Sofia district - 83; Sofia city – 394; Stara Zagora - 97; Targovishte - 43; Haskovo - 38; Shoumen – 32; Yambol - 36.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 392,913.
The active cases are 59,087.
Of the total, 8,435 patients are in hospitals, 786 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 3,935 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 318,208;
· 19,168 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 676,501;
· 100 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 15,618.
