The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,126 from 15,638 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 17.
1,163 were confirmed from PCR and 963 from antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 72; Bourgas - 100; Varna - 166; Veliko Turnovo – 57; Vidin – 14; Vratsa - 42; Gabrovo – 26; Dobrich – 86; Kardzhali - 34; Kyustendil - 26; Lovech - 48; Montana - 45; Pazardzhik - 46; Pernik - 44; Pleven – 39; Plovdiv - 194; Razgrad - 26; Rousse - 92; Silistra - 22; Sliven - 36; Smolyan – 23; Sofia district - 63; Sofia city – 522; Stara Zagora - 157; Targovishte - 16; Haskovo - 45; Shoumen – 55; Yambol - 30.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 384,887.
The active cases are 65,754.
Of the total, 9,195 patients are in hospitals, 801 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 3,642 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 304,033;
· 13,755 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 634,129;
· 121 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 15,100.
