Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 227 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 227 from 2,792 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on February 22.

107 were confirmed from PCR and 120 from antigen tests.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 236,666.

The active cases are 26,560.

Of the total, 3,880 patients are in hospitals, 321 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 114 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 200,252;
• 10,998 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 119,354;
• 15 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 9,854.
