The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,301 from 8,702 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on November 8.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 75; Bourgas - 128; Varna - 271; Veliko Turnovo - 40; Vidin – 41; Vratsa - 26; Gabrovo - 10; Dobrich - 32; Kardzhali - 8; Kyustendil - 58; Lovech - 32; Montana - 31; Pazardzhik - 60; Pernik - 31; Pleven - 59; Plovdiv - 144; Razgrad - 37; Rousse - 40; Silistra - 21; Sliven - 51; Smolyan - 14; Sofia district - 69; Sofia city - 853; Stara Zagora - 36; Targovishte -30; Haskovo - 12; Shoumen - 42; Yambol - 50.
The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 74,485.
The active cases are 49,048.
Of the total, 3,715 patients are in hospitals, 271 of them being in intensive care.
The recoveries over the 24-hour period are 369. The total recoveries are 23,805.
56 Covid-19 related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, thus bringing the death toll to 1,632.
