The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,427 from 7,910 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on November 3.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 136; Bourgas - 57; Varna - 148; Veliko Turnovo - 23; Vidin – 2; Vratsa - 55; Gabrovo - 34; Dobrich - 23; Kardzhali - 34; Kyustendil - 30; Lovech - 29; Montana - 60; Pazardzhik - 37; Pernik - 60; Pleven - 45; Plovdiv - 255; Razgrad - 27; Rousse - 86; Silistra - 4; Sliven - 11; Smolyan - 20; Sofia district - 56; Sofia city - 979; Stara Zagora - 53; Targovishte - 26; Haskovo - 36; Shoumen - 93; Yambol - 8.
The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 56,496.
The active cases are 34,110.
Of the total, 2,841 patients are in hospitals, 180 of them being in intensive care.
The recoveries over the 24-hour period are 507. The total recoveries are 21,037.
According to data published on the Natonal Information Portal on Coronavirus, the medical professionals who have tested positive for the virus are 2,436. the new cases registered over the past 24 hours are 71: 28 doctors; 22 nurses; 13 healthcare assistants; 1 paramedic and 7 other medcial staff.
51 Covid-19 related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, thus bringing the death toll to 1,349.
