The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,434 from 15,952 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 20.
1,083 were confirmed from PCR and 1,351 from antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 102; Bourgas - 37; Varna - 167; Veliko Turnovo – 100; Vidin – 25; Vratsa - 27; Gabrovo – 26; Dobrich – 64; Kardzhali - 50; Kyustendil - 47; Lovech - 56; Montana - 74; Pazardzhik - 60; Pernik - 33; Pleven – 52; Plovdiv - 264; Razgrad - 26; Rousse - 125; Silistra - 47; Sliven - 45; Smolyan – 36; Sofia district - 77; Sofia city – 522; Stara Zagora - 186; Targovishte - 28; Haskovo - 59; Shoumen – 70; Yambol - 29.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 388,815.
The active cases are 62,481.
Of the total, 8,834 patients are in hospitals, 780 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 4,244 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 310,922;
· 7,044 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 645,486;
· 217 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 15,412.
