The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,498 from 6,450 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on November 15.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 97; Bourgas - 118; Varna - 172; Veliko Turnovo - 38; Vidin – 16; Vratsa - 30; Gabrovo - 49; Dobrich - 34; Kardzhali - 2; Kyustendil - 98; Lovech - 35; Montana - 22; Pazardzhik - 93; Pernik - 31; Pleven - 64; Plovdiv - 269; Razgrad - 27; Rousse - 70; Silistra - 7; Sliven - 53; Smolyan - 8; Sofia district - 113; Sofia city – 811; Stara Zagora - 103; Targovishte - 22; Haskovo - 32; Shoumen - 36; Yambol - 48.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 97,435.
The active cases are 66,539.
Of the total, 5,166 patients are in hospitals, 295 of them being in intensive care.
The recoveries over the 24-hour period are 536. The total recoveries are 28,805.
36 Covid-19 related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, thus bringing the death toll to 2,091.
