The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,537 from 11,931 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on March 28.
1,667 were confirmed from PCR and 870 from antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 76; Bourgas - 294; Varna - 258; Veliko Turnovo – 48; Vidin – 6; Vratsa - 68; Gabrovo – 11; Dobrich - 75 Kardzhali - 24; Kyustendil - 50; Lovech - 26; Montana - 37; Pazardzhik - 89; Pernik - 78; Pleven – 78; Plovdiv - 150; Razgrad - 35; Rousse - 52; Silistra - 27; Sliven - 58; Smolyan – 37; Sofia district - 131; Sofia city – 649; Stara Zagora - 28; Targovishte - 23; Haskovo - 46; Shoumen – 33; Yambol - 50.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 327,770.
The active cases are 66,216.
Of the total, 9,674 patients are in hospitals, 769 of them being in intensive care.
The total number of medical professionals who have tested positive for the virus are 11, 693, including 50 in the past 24 hours of which 7 are doctors; 19 nurses; 10 healthcare assistants an 14 other medical staff.
During the past 24 hours:
· 1,453 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 248,904;
· 3,930 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 434,158;
· 49 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 12,650.
