The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,541 from 11,979 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on March 21.
1,633 were confirmed from PCR and 908 from antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 101; Bourgas - 305; Varna - 277; Veliko Turnovo – 25; Vidin – 5; Vratsa - 59; Gabrovo – 9; Dobrich - 20; Kardzhali - 8; Kyustendil - 50; Lovech - 38; Montana - 30; Pazardzhik - 39; Pernik - 71; Pleven – 76; Plovdiv - 154; Razgrad - 24; Rousse - 35; Silistra - 31; Sliven - 74; Smolyan – 21; Sofia district - 152; Sofia city – 681; Stara Zagora - 108; Targovishte - 15; Haskovo - 48; Shoumen – 33; Yambol - 52.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 302,480.
The active cases are 56,277.
Of the total, 8,545 patients are in hospitals, 691 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 641 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 234,237;
· 3,822 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 366,547;
· 34 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 11,966.
