Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 289 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 289 from 1,791 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 14.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,270,081.

The active cases are 11,218.

Of the total, 690 patients are in hospitals, 46 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 13 recoveries;

• 40 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 0 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 60,55% had not been vaccinated.

There were 10 new hospitalisations, of which 90,00% had not been vaccinated.
