The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,957 from 16,083 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 9.
1,784 were confirmed from PCR and 1,173 from antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 94; Bourgas - 177; Varna - 279; Veliko Turnovo – 56; Vidin – 20; Vratsa - 70; Gabrovo – 34; Dobrich – 102; Kardzhali - 81; Kyustendil - 48; Lovech - 62; Montana - 39; Pazardzhik - 111; Pernik - 70; Pleven – 68; Plovdiv - 234; Razgrad - 38; Rousse - 113; Silistra - 33; Sliven - 47; Smolyan – 21; Sofia district - 96; Sofia city – 716; Stara Zagora - 128; Targovishte - 29; Haskovo - 90; Shoumen – 62; Yambol - 39.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 367,376.
The active cases are 71,227.
Of the total, 10,404 patients are in hospitals, 813 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 3,314 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 281,979;
· 19,063 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 552,516;
· 136 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 14,170.
