The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 332 from 2,810 tests, including PCR and rapid antigen tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on December 28.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 197,716.
The active cases are 79,544.
Of the total, 5,571 patients are in hospitals, 523 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 1,266 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 111,008;
· 41 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 7,164
