The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 3,328 from 8,578 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on December 10.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 125; Bourgas - 164; Varna – 321; Veliko Turnovo - 198; Vidin – 22; Vratsa - 94; Gabrovo – 79; Dobrich - 76; Kardzhali - 23; Kyustendil - 47; Lovech - 46; Montana - 57; Pazardzhik - 86; Pernik - 52; Pleven - 141; Plovdiv - 325; Razgrad - 25; Rousse - 124; Silistra - 35; Sliven - 136; Smolyan – 41; Sofia district - 103; Sofia city – 614; Stara Zagora - 162; Targovishte - 23; Haskovo - 61; Shoumen - 58; Yambol - 90.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 171,493.
The active cases are 94,132.
Of the total, 6,998 patients are in hospitals, 544 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
- 3,050 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 72,078;
- 191 medical professionals infected, bringing the total to date to 7,445;
- 127 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 5,283
