The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 3,556 from 17,713 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 8.
2,067 were confirmed from PCR and 1,489 from antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 125; Bourgas - 227; Varna - 338; Veliko Turnovo – 91; Vidin – 27; Vratsa - 73; Gabrovo – 50; Dobrich – 113; Kardzhali - 77; Kyustendil - 48; Lovech - 54; Montana - 64; Pazardzhik - 99; Pernik - 57; Pleven – 83; Plovdiv - 347; Razgrad - 21; Rousse - 129; Silistra - 41; Sliven - 67; Smolyan – 47; Sofia district - 122; Sofia city – 815; Stara Zagora - 162; Targovishte - 64; Haskovo - 64; Shoumen – 105; Yambol - 46.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 364,419.
The active cases are 71,720.
Of the total, 10,429 patients are in hospitals, 777 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 2,477 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 278,665;
· 13,819 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 533,453;
· 116 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 14,034.
