The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 3,754 from 11,131 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on November 6.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 199; Bourgas -266; Varna - 293; Veliko Turnovo - 51; Vidin – 23; Vratsa - 86; Gabrovo - 66; Dobrich - 28; Kardzhali - 25; Kyustendil - 71; Lovech - 10; Montana - 45; Pazardzhik - 58; Pernik - 98; Pleven - 68; Plovdiv - 367; Razgrad - 32; Rousse - 148; Silistra - 18; Sliven - 47; Smolyan - 29; Sofia district - 81; Sofia city - 1,264; Stara Zagora - 141; Targovishte - 30; Haskovo - 62; Shoumen - 90; Yambol - 58.
The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 68,345.
The active cases are 44,118.
Of the total, 3,424 patients are in hospitals, 250 of them being in intensive care.
The recoveries over the 24-hour period are 762. The total recoveries are 22,709.
The medical professionals who have tested positive for the virus are 2,780 in total since the start of the epidemic. 116 new cases were reported overnight, including 34 doctors; 36 nurses; 21 healthcare assistants; 1 paramedic and 24 other medical staff.
52 Covid-19 related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, thus bringing the death toll to 1,518.
