Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 376 new cases, 9 deaths

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 376 from 2,894 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on January 3, 2024.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the pandemic are 1,334,766.

The active cases are 5,847

Of the total, 365 patients are in hospitals, 27 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 180 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 1,290,234

• 28 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to 4,724,490;

• 9 Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 38,685;

Of the daily cases, 58,24% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 88,89% had not been vaccinated.

There were 61 new hospitalisations, of which 62,30% had not been vaccinated.
