Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 3,860 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 3,860 from 19,210 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 6.

1,651 were confirmed from PCR and 2,209 from antigen tests.

The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:

Blagoevgrad – 162; Bourgas - 86; Varna - 251; Veliko Turnovo – 103; Vidin – 30; Vratsa - 69; Gabrovo – 66; Dobrich – 74; Kardzhali - 67; Kyustendil - 69; Lovech - 80; Montana - 80; Pazardzhik - 62; Pernik - 57; Pleven – 104; Plovdiv - 384; Razgrad - 40; Rousse - 167; Silistra - 95; Sliven - 64; Smolyan – 65; Sofia district - 121; Sofia city – 1,029; Stara Zagora - 227; Targovishte - 40; Haskovo - 99; Shoumen – 120; Yambol - 49.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 356,859.

The active cases are 69,644.

Of the total, 10,402 patients are in hospitals, 734 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 2,996 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 273,429;

· 6,479 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 510,049;

· 197 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 13,786.
