Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 3,899 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 3,899 from 10,311 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on November 20.

The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:

Blagoevgrad - 189; Bourgas - 241; Varna - 255; Veliko Turnovo - 62; Vidin – 27; Vratsa - 118; Gabrovo - 119; Dobrich - 60; Kardzhali - 16; Kyustendil - 113; Lovech - 48; Montana - 64; Pazardzhik - 96; Pernik - 81; Pleven - 128; Plovdiv - 360; Razgrad - 44; Rousse - 152; Silistra - 76; Sliven - 96; Smolyan - 13; Sofia district - 134; Sofia city – 977; Stara Zagora - 195; Targovishte - 14; Haskovo - 80; Shoumen - 80; Yambol - 61.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 114,435.

The active cases are 78,459.

Of the total, 5,878 patients are in hospitals, 344 of them being in intensive care.

The recoveries over the 24-hour period are 847. The total recoveries are 33,327.

119 Covid-19 related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, thus bringing the death toll to 2,649.
