The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 3,980 from 9,715 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on December 9.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 114; Bourgas - 471; Varna – 391; Veliko Turnovo - 22; Vidin – 28; Vratsa - 110; Gabrovo – 55; Dobrich - 76; Kardzhali - 32; Kyustendil - 47; Lovech - 62; Montana - 53; Pazardzhik - 111; Pernik - 79; Pleven - 119; Plovdiv - 394; Razgrad - 34; Rousse - 172; Silistra - 44; Sliven - 146; Smolyan – 5; Sofia district - 151; Sofia city – 711; Stara Zagora - 240; Targovishte - 24; Haskovo -135; Shoumen - 59; Yambol - 95.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 168,165.
The active cases are 93,981.
Of the total, 6,839 patients are in hospitals, 514 of them being in intensive care.
