Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 400 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 400 from 5,454 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 26.

Test positivity rate is a little above 7%.

141 were confirmed from PCR and 259 from antigen tests.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 397,500.

The active cases are 56,650.

Of the total, 8,080 patients are in hospitals, 746 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 557 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 324,943;

· 2,070 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 723,240;

· 48 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 15,907.
