The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 4,004 from 17,576 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 7.
2,507 were confirmed from PCR and 1,497 from antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 125; Bourgas - 330; Varna - 369; Veliko Turnovo – 85; Vidin – 26; Vratsa - 72; Gabrovo – 43; Dobrich – 101; Kardzhali - 28; Kyustendil - 56; Lovech - 68; Montana - 54; Pazardzhik - 95; Pernik - 77; Pleven – 106; Plovdiv - 334; Razgrad - 30; Rousse - 165; Silistra - 66; Sliven - 85; Smolyan – 55; Sofia district - 189; Sofia city – 914; Stara Zagora - 219; Targovishte - 44; Haskovo - 142; Shoumen – 65; Yambol - 41.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 360,863.
The active cases are 70,757.
Of the total, 10,355 patients are in hospitals, 755 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 2,759 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 276,188;
· 84 medical professionals tested positive for the virus (17 doctors; 31 nurses; 18 healthcare assistants; 1 paramedic; 17 other staff), thus bringing the total to date to 12,287;
· 9,586 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 519,635;
· 132 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 13,018.
