The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 4,008 from 17,973 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on March 19.
2,524 were confirmed from PCR and 1,484 from antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 158; Bourgas - 329; Varna - 299; Veliko Turnovo – 92; Vidin – 18; Vratsa - 124; Gabrovo – 23; Dobrich - 79; Kardzhali - 36; Kyustendil - 62; Lovech - 56; Montana - 52; Pazardzhik - 80; Pernik - 74; Pleven – 158; Plovdiv - 312; Razgrad - 19; Rousse - 105; Silistra - 106; Sliven - 90; Smolyan – 53; Sofia district - 140; Sofia city – 1,121; Stara Zagora - 120; Targovishte - 29; Haskovo - 111; Shoumen – 106; Yambol - 56.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 295,777.
The active cases are 51,919.
Of the total, 8,982 patients are in hospitals, 670 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 1,584 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 232,041;
· 5,350administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 356,052;
· 102 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 11,817.
