Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 411 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 411 from 1,708 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on August 8.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,217,565.

The active cases are 27,151.

Of the total, 1,098 patients are in hospitals, 47 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 282 recoveries;

• 38 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 4 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 67.40% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100.00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 27 new hospitalisations, of which 66.67% had not been vaccinated.
