The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 4,162 from 18,449 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on March 20.
2,577 were confirmed from PCR and 1,585 from antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 172; Bourgas - 331; Varna - 325; Veliko Turnovo – 76; Vidin – 26; Vratsa - 106; Gabrovo – 65; Dobrich - 71; Kardzhali - 34; Kyustendil - 79; Lovech - 92; Montana - 57; Pazardzhik - 95; Pernik - 82; Pleven – 190; Plovdiv - 253; Razgrad - 29; Rousse - 109; Silistra - 100; Sliven - 83; Smolyan – 54; Sofia district - 164; Sofia city – 1,164; Stara Zagora - 111; Targovishte - 21; Haskovo - 110; Shoumen – 98; Yambol - 67.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 299,939.
The active cases are 54,411.
Of the total, 8,332 patients are in hospitals, 689 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 1,555 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 233,596;
· 6,669 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 362,721;
· 115 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 11,932.
