The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 4,382 from 10,474 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on November 25.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 147; Bourgas - 307; Varna - 365; Veliko Turnovo - 109; Vidin – 28; Vratsa - 108; Gabrovo – 187; Dobrich - 86; Kardzhali - 18; Kyustendil - 117; Lovech - 41; Montana - 49; Pazardzhik - 85; Pernik - 108; Pleven - 122; Plovdiv - 458; Razgrad - 44; Rousse - 196; Silistra - 75; Sliven - 115; Smolyan - 20; Sofia district - 146; Sofia city – 880; Stara Zagora - 275; Targovishte - 35; Haskovo - 88; Shoumen - 76; Yambol - 97.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 129,348.
The active cases are 86,020.
Of the total, 6,365 patients are in hospitals, 392 of them being in intensive care.
The recoveries over the 24-hour period are 1,876.The total recoveries are 40,102.
A total of 5,126 medical professionals have tested positive for the virus since the start of the peidemic, including 182 new cases overnight:54 doctors; 71 nurses; 18 healthcare assistants; 5 paramedics and 334 other medical staff.
157 Covid-19 related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, thus bringing the death toll to 3,226.
