Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 548 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 548 from 5,696 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on February 21.

385 were confirmed from PCR and 163 from antigen tests.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 236,439.

The active cases are 26,462.

Of the total, 3,846 patients are in hospitals, 316 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 160 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 200,138;
• 4,088 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 108,356;
• 18 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 9,839.
