The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 566 from 9,786 tests (including 314 confirmed from PCR and 252 from antigen tests), data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on January 23.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 21; Bourgas - 35; Varna – 29; Veliko Turnovo - 11; Vidin – --; Vratsa - 19; Gabrovo – 3; Dobrich - 6-; Kardzhali - 17; Kyustendil - 16; Lovech - 7; Montana - 2; Pazardzhik - 40; Pernik - 9; Pleven - 30; Plovdiv - 47; Razgrad - 6; Rousse - 23; Silistra - 4; Sliven - 16; Smolyan – 5; Sofia district - 26; Sofia city – 119; Stara Zagora - 28; Targovishte – 5; Haskovo - 16; Shoumen - 20; Yambol - 6.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 214,430.
The active cases are 27,029.
Of the total, 2,844 patients are in hospitals, 284 of them being in intensive care.
