The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 598 from 13,279 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on January 28.
366 were confirmed from PCR and 232 from antigen tests.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 26; Bourgas - 42; Varna – 18; Veliko Turnovo – 8; Vidin – 3; Vratsa - 13; Gabrovo – 4; Dobrich - 7; Kardzhali - 7; Kyustendil - 23; Lovech - 7; Montana - 10; Pazardzhik - 38; Pernik - 5; Pleven - 33; Plovdiv - 50; Razgrad - 1; Rousse - 22; Silistra - 7; Sliven - 24; Smolyan – 4; Sofia district - 25; Sofia city – 150; Stara Zagora - 16; Targovishte – 6; Haskovo - 24; Shoumen - 16; Yambol - 9.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 217,014.
The active cases are 26,448.
Of the total, 2,865 patients are in hospitals, 265 of them being in intensive care.
