The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 620 from 7,804 tests (including PCR and antigen tests), data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on January 12.
The largest number of the latest cases were registered in Sofia city (110); the districts of Blagoevgrad (48); Plovdiv (47); Varna (41); Stara Zagora (39); Haskovo (36); Pazardzhik (32); Shumen (29).
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 209,131.
The active cases are 63,057.
Of the total, 4,046 patients are in hospitals, 375 of them being in intensive care.
