Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 695 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 695 from 13,583 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on January 30.

392 were confirmed from PCR and 303 from antigen tests.

The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:

Blagoevgrad - 15; Bourgas - 48; Varna – 22; Veliko Turnovo – 13; Vidin – 2; Vratsa - 13; Gabrovo – 3; Dobrich - 8; Kardzhali - 25; Kyustendil - 48; Lovech - 8; Montana -6; Pazardzhik - 31; Pernik - 10; Pleven - 47; Plovdiv - 52; Razgrad - 3; Rousse - 23; Silistra - 10; Sliven - 21; Smolyan – 6; Sofia district - 13; Sofia city – 173; Stara Zagora - 23; Targovishte – 4; Haskovo - 32; Shoumen - 23; Yambol - 13.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 218,269.

The active cases are 25,012.

Of the total, 2,848 patients are in hospitals, 261 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 1,324 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 184,249;
• 3,169 vaccinated, bringing the total vaccinations to date to 40,805;
• 35 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 9,008.
