Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 798 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 798 from 7,493 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 25.

514 were confirmed from PCR and 284 from antigen tests.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 397,100.

The active cases are 56,855.

Of the total, 8,087 patients are in hospitals, 738 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 509 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 324,386;

· 4,230 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 721,170;

· 33 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 15,859.
