The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 877 from 13,190 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on May 12.
Test positivity rate is at approximately 7%.
536 were confirmed from PCR and 341 from rapid antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 23; Bourgas - 66; Varna - 77; Veliko Turnovo – 27; Vidin – 16; Vratsa – 15; Gabrovo – 19; Dobrich – 13; Kardzhali - 10; Kyustendil - 9; Lovech - 15; Montana - 34; Pazardzhik - 20; Pernik - 25; Pleven – 19; Plovdiv - 72; Razgrad - 8; Rousse - 44; Silistra – 8; Sliven - 18; Smolyan – 11; Sofia district - 31; Sofia city – 182; Stara Zagora - 44; Targovishte - 17; Haskovo - 20; Shoumen – 18; Yambol - 16.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 412,157.
The active cases are 41,434.
Of the total, 5,410 patients are in hospitals, 535 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 2,222 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 353,619;
· 35,748 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 999,287;
· 59 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 17,104.
