The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 5,176 from 20,455 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on March 31.
This is the largest number registered since the start of the epidemic in the Bulgaria.
4,417 were confirmed from PCR and 1,759 from antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 160; Bourgas - 417; Varna - 463; Veliko Turnovo – 115; Vidin – 28; Vratsa - 115; Gabrovo – 65; Dobrich – 88; Kardzhali - 88; Kyustendil - 68; Lovech - 58; Montana - 135; Pazardzhik - 145; Pernik - 76; Pleven – 125; Plovdiv - 425; Razgrad - 38; Rousse - 162; Silistra - 82; Sliven - 116; Smolyan – 56; Sofia district - 212; Sofia city – 1,321; Stara Zagora - 205; Targovishte - 53; Haskovo - 162; Shoumen – 129; Yambol - 69.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 338,426.
The active cases are 69,666.
Of the total, 9,811 patients are in hospitals, 748 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 3,219 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 255,692;
· 13,183 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 458,731;
· 155 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 13,068.
