The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 4,390 from 11,068 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on November 11.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 229; Bourgas - 156; Varna - 301; Veliko Turnovo - 41; Vidin – 8; Vratsa - 81; Gabrovo - 68; Dobrich - 25; Kardzhali - 22; Kyustendil - 141; Lovech - 45; Montana - 79; Pazardzhik - 106; Pernik - 92; Pleven - 135; Plovdiv - 471; Razgrad - 51; Rousse - 218; Silistra - 105; Sliven - 61; Smolyan - 18; Sofia district - 131; Sofia city – 1,318; Stara Zagora - 196; Targovishte - 25; Haskovo - 86; Shoumen - 95; Yambol - 86.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 83,366.
The active cases are 55,716.
Of the total, 4,176 patients are in hospitals, 280 of them being in intensive care.
The recoveries over the 24-hour period are 516. The total recoveries are 25,799.
A total of 3,278 medical professionals have tested positive for the virus, including 155 new cases over the past 24 hours: 65 doctors; 37 nurses; 14 healthcare assistants; 5 paramedics and 34 other medical staff.
80 Covid-19 related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, thus bringing the death toll to 1,851.
