The Supreme Administrative Court ordered the Minister of the Environment to carry out an eco-assessment of Pirin Park. The judges cancelled his decision not to make an assessment because it contradicts three laws - environmental protection, protected areas and biodiversity. The court case wa initiasted following an appeal by WWF, the World Wildlife Fund.
