Dangerous weather warning has been issued for torrential rains and risk of floodings during the night and tomorrow, December 10, for almost all districts in Bulgaria.
Code yellow weather alert was issued for the districts of Blagoevgrad, Pazardzhik, Plovdiv, Gabrovo, Veliko Turnovo, Targovishte, Shoumen and Bourgas because of expected heavy rain, with precipitation of up to 25-30 l/sq.m.
Code organe for heavier rain, with expected up to 50-60 l/sq.m. will be in force for the districts of Yambol, sliven, stara Zagora, Haskovo, Kardzhali and Smolyan.
For four districts Haskovo, Kurdzhali, Sliven and Yambol (South-eastern Bulgaria), the warning has been issued because of forecast strong wind, with expected speed of 80-90 km/h.
An alert is in force for the districts of Pleven, Lovech, Vratsa, Montana and Vidin over possible black ice.
