Dimitar Tsonev, a distinguished BNT presenter passed away on 23rd of August at the age of 56.
Since 14th of August, he was in hospital after a heavy stroke.
Dimitar Tsonev spent most of his career with the Bulgarian National Television. His recent job was a presenter of a current affairs programme “More from the Day”.
He was a news anchor at BNT. From 2001 to 2005 he was a spokesperson of the government headed by Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg, then corporate PR. For 2 year he was a co-host of a political talk show at a commercial TV.
Highly talented and experienced professional, Tsonev will remain as one of the emblematic figures of BNT.
