For the sixth consecutive year, the Holy Metropolis of Sofia organises the "Feast of the Orthodox Spirit and Traditions" on Holy Thursday. Children from schools and kindergartens celebrated the holiday by painting Easter eggs in the Ancient Cultural and Communication Centre "Serdika" under the dome of the Largo in the capital city of Sofia.
Later, in a procession, the children and the clergy of the Holy Metropolis took the painted eggs to the icon of Saint Mary in the Church of St. Sophia.
