Record high employment in the second quarter of 2017 was reported by the Bulgarian Ministry of the Economy. According to the data, employment reaches 71% and the number of employed is 3,200,000 people.
In the second quarter of the year, unemployment dropped to 6.3% and the number of unemployed is over 200,000 people.
For the same period, the wages increased by nearly 10%, according to the ministry. Main reason for growth in the country is the increase in value added coming from the industry.
