Bulgaria’s Energy and Water Regulatory Commission is holdinmg a meeting on 28th of December to decide on the next year's water prices. An increase is expected in 27 regions across the country.
Ptotesters gathered in front of the regulator’s building to express dissatisfaction with the rising water prices.
The number of protesters today was considerably less than at the previous protest when the public discussion on the new, higher water prices was taking place. The Regulator also decided that natural gas price will rise from January 1 to 3.51%, as demanded by Bulgargaz.
