Exhibition "Exhibition in volume - perception by touch” for visually impaired people was orgnaised in the building of the Passenger Terminal at the Port of Bulgaria’s Black Sea coastal city of Bourgas. The residents with special needs could “see” through touching the most famous representatives of marine life thanks to the 3D models and the information presented in Braille.
Visitors of the exhibition said that this was the first time they could “see” various fish species.
The exhibition "Black Sea Inhabitants" was organized by Non-profit Organization for Conservation “One Nature” and put on display 13 fish species and 2 jelly fish species. The models are hand-crafted in their natural size according to the needs of people with visual disabilities.
The exhibition is mobile, which will enable people (sighted and blind) across Bulgaria to get acquainted with the Black Sea inhabitants and learn interesting facts about them.
