Five villages in the region of Rousse (North Bulgaria, on the Danube) are without electricity after a storm on night of 3rd of September. The torrential rain and hail storm caused power outages in the villages of Basarbovo, Nikolovo, Hotantsa, Novo Selo and Sredna Kula.
The hail broke windows in the residential areas of Obraztsov Chiflik. The strong wind in the villages of Borovo took away roof tiles. Agricultural crops have been damaged by the storm.
In Rouse, the strom caused fallen trees.
Teams of the electricity distribution company are working to repair the downed utilities poles.
Nearly 30 litres per square metre poured down on the night of 3rd of September after 22:00.
