On 25th of August, Emmanuel Macron will have meetings with Bulgarian President Roumen Radev and Prime Minister Boyko Borissov at Evksinograd Palace. The talks will discuss the bilateral relations between Bulgaria and France, the security of the external borders of the European Union and the accession of our country to Schengen. Focus of the meetings will also be the priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU and the European perspective of the Western Balkans.
Emmanuel Makron and his wife Brigitte are in Bulgaria at the joint invitation of President Roumen Radev and Prime Minister Boyko Borissov. Macron's visit is also part of his tour of Central and Eastern Europe.
