Torrential rain and hail storm flooded the streets in the lower part of the Bulgarian Black Sea coastal city of Varna on 29th of August. Literally within in minutes the streets turned into river.
The reason for the flooding was clogged drains caused by piles of dry leaves and dust.
Teams of the firefighting service are pumping water out. Local residents were disappointed because the road was repaired a year ago, but despite that it got flooded every time it rained.
