Speaking on BNT on November 5, the Minister of Health Kostadin Angelov said that the existing measures are working and must be observed and controlled.
"We have several critical points in the country - in Sofia, in Bourgas and Shoumen. There doctors work around the clock. I am grateful for their efforts. We should give enhanced support to these places. The state must be stable. We must all be united and in solidarity. We must respect the measures and to have understanding and be responsible so that we can come out of this epidemic alive and well."
According to the Minister of Health, the proposals by the Chief State Health Inspector to tighten the measures were discussed by the expert councils throughout the afternoon.
"There will be no new measures on top of the ones we have so far. The only thing we are discussing is to introduce a green corridor for shopping on the mornings for the elderly and for vulnerable groups, because we believe that in this way we would protect them from unnecessary risks," Kostadin Angelov said.
