The heavy rain in the past 24 hours in the South-Eastern Bulgarian district of Bourgas has caused power outages in 5 villages in the area, the press office of the EVN electricity distributor said on 25th of October.
Seven emergency teams of the company work to repair the damage. Electric power has already been restored to the villages of Livada, Rusokastro, Sarnevo and Ravnets. Until 10.40, power supply in the villages of Polski izvor, Cherni vrah, Trastikovo, Rezovo, Sinemorets was not restored. In some of the villages, electricity supply was cut off as a precautionary measure to prevent any accidents that may occur because of the rain. In some places, flooded roads are considered a major problems for the teams.
