The nationalist IMRO party is seeking annulment of results of voting in Turkey in the April 4 elections for new Bulgarian parliament, the deputy chairperson of IMRO, Angel Dzhambazki, said in a news beefing on April 9.
The reason is gross violations of the electionl law, including preliminary filled-in declarations, speaking in Turkish language in the polling stations, manipulations in the protocols.
According to Djambazki, the annulment of the voting in Turkey will not bring the IMRO into Parliament, but will relocate the parties in the National Assembly and, above all, increase the percentage of Democratic Bulgaria.
The party recognizes the results of the elections and only seeks annulment of the results in Turkey .According to Dzhambazki, Bulgaria's interest requires stable governance and wishes parliamentary parties to nominate a cabinet.

VMRO was part of nationalist alliance “United Patriots”, which was a minority partner of the ruling GERB in the coalition government. At the April 4 elections this year, IMRO stood separately from its “United Patriots” partner, NFSB, but failed to reach the 4% threshold for entry in Parliament.
